Following the release of Patch 12.12, a Teamfight Tactics hotfix was received, nerfing Daeja and Volibear while reverting the Legend trait buff.
According to gaming director Stephen Mortdog Mortimer, the TFT decided to send a hotfix to nerf Daeja and Volibear before the start of the Twitch Rivals Tag Team event. The nerf reduced the dragons'' attack damage while also punching its spell bolt damage.
The following hotfix have been implemented. It should be implemented after all games started. Thank you for your patience. pic.twitter.com/BC0DxanBb4
In Patch 12.12, Daeja received a revamp, reorganizing the dragons'' triple missile barrage over her passive. It was previously a part of Daeja''s active spell that took ten seconds to complete. In addition, Daeja''s Windblast spell-bolt passive was reduced to 55/85/300.
Daejas attacks damage hard in the TFT Patch 12.12 hotfix, reducing it from 40 to 20. And the passive Windblast spell-bolt damage was nerfed to 30/45/200, reducing it to 30/45/200, which was lower than it was prior to the Patch 12.12 remake.
Volibear''s health was restored to what it was during Patch 12.12, along with his spell damage. These reverts basically bring Volibear back to his previous state, minus the small improvement he received to his attack speed that still exists.
Today''s hotfix included two additional balance modifications, reverting the Legendary trait buffs ability power to 40 percent. A bug was found in Hyper Roll, which caused players to drop to levels eight and nine a round late.
The TFT Patch 12.12 hotfix shortened the start time for today''s Twitch Rival Tag Team event by an hour, with the event starting at its normal time of 3pm CT on June 24. No other balance changes or a B-patch have been announced at the time of writing.
