In the turn-based strategy game Into the Breach, which was one of our picks for the best games of 2018, the unstoppable force of giant alien bugs meets the immovable object of heavily armed mechs. Each bite-sized level is a fresh puzzle, making it almost like Pacific Rim in Wordle form. Now, developer Subset Games has announced that its introducing a mobile version of Into the Breach, and that it will have a free Advanced Edition upgrade for the existing PC version.
With the help of a Netflix-produced mobile version, Into the Breachs Advanced Edition will be released July 19. There are new squads with new abilities, new pilots with new abilities, and even new Vek bugs and bosses to tacically vaporize in all-new missions.
The Advanced Edition will match the mobile version that will be available on Netflix, so you''ll be able to play Into the Breach on your mobile device next month if you are already a Netflix subscriber.
Subset Games has announced that it will have more information on the Advanced Edition of Into the Breach prior to its launch. In the meantime, its on sale for 33% off on Steam right now.
