NBA Draft 2022 Preview

Shareef ONeal will not follow his fathers footsteps as an NBA lottery pick, but the younger ONeal still hopes to hear his name be called on draft night. Both ONeals played at LSU, but the comparisons may come to an end.

The younger ONeal told the media via ESPNs Dave McMenamin. Every kid is going to be compared to their father who does the same thing as them. So thats going to be there. It doesn''t bother me.

ONeal, a younger boy, had a heart problem before having surgery in 2018.

With the father-son comparison, eight prospects in the NBA will agree on a Thursdays draft. This includes Scotty Pippen, the son of Scotty Pippen, the son of the Chicago Bulls'' legendary Scotty Pippen. Pippen played his college career at Vanderbilt.

Pippen Jr. said about his father via James Boyd of the Indianapolis Star.Im (6-1). It''s a totally different era of basketball.Im my own player.

Ron Harper, a member of the 1990s Bulls dynasty, has a son in Ron Harper Jr., a young Harper at Rutgers, and the recent Scarlet Knights star wants to add to his school legacy.

According to Harper, it would be significant because it would show people that you can go to the NBA out of Rutgers and you can go to the NBA after four years at Rutgers. I feel that it would imply to a lot of these New Jersey kids that Rutgers is a place that can you transfer to the next level.

Three of the second-generation NBA prospects might go quite high in the Thursdays draft, according to Dukes A.J. Griffin, Auburns Jabari Smith, and Wisconsins Johnny Davis.

After a great performance at Duke, Griffin Jr. will likely attend a lottery team, making him the second of two Duke players to go in the draft, with Paolo Banchero ranked as the third-ranked prospect on the ESPN Big Board.

The senior Jabari Smith played four seasons in the early 2000s, earning the NBA no. 2 ranking.

After an All-American season at Wisconsin, Davis, the son of former NBA quarterback Mark Davis, is looking to continue his hoops career in the pros. He particularly played for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1980s, and the younger Davis grew up in Wisconsin.

I''m feeling a bit of joy at it. Just knowing that this is probably how my life will progress from now on. In fact, Davis said via FOX News. Im really looking forward to Thursday, especially that I got my friends and my friends with me. It''s going to be a lot of fun and fun.

Jabari Walker, a Colorado native, might go in the second round of the NBA draft. His father, Samaki Walker, played for several NBA teams in the 2000s.

Ron Artest III, the son of Ron Artest Jr., now Metta Sandiford-Artest, hopes to hear his name be heard following playing in the NBA G League and the NBL. At Cal State Northridge, the younger Artest played college hoops.
