Nintendo announced that Chris Pratt would voice Mario in its next film in September. Chris at the time stated how he had "worked hard" to achieve the character''s voice, but we''re still waiting to hear what it sounds like.

Pratt''s has once again expressed his support for Mario, this time stating how he''s "really proud" of his voice and that it''s "unlike anything you''ve ever heard in the Mario world."

Apart from Chris Pratt, Charlie Day (Pacific Rim) will play Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen''s Gambit) will play Princess Peach, Jack Black (School of Rock) will play Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key will play Toad, and Seth Rogan will play Donkey Kong in the role.
