The first reactions to Thor and Thunder have arrived ...

Thor: Love and Thunder is only a few weeks away, and the film''s first reactions have been made.

The infamous few who saw Thor''s latest big-screen film on Instagram have taken the stage to share their immediate thoughts following his world premiere last night (January 23).

While some didn''t think the film was as good as Thor''s predecessor, it was still praised as a fun adventure with plenty of laughs.

Crimson praise for the visual effects, as well as Natalie Portman''s long-awaited return and Christian Bale''s dangerous direction.

Another classic Thor adventure! #ThorLoveAndThunder is all I wanted to be. Guns N'' Roses-fueled battles to go w/ a hopeful romantic tale about discovering love in unexpected places. Christian Bale and Russell Crowe are especially great. Korg! pic.twitter.com/fu0gTUuMRj

I saw #ThorLoveAndThunder. It can''t quite match Ragnarok''s visual or comedy bombast, but Taika Waititi makes up for it with an emotionally mature Marvel film. It''s also very funny (Natalie''s got jokes) and features one of the most stunning visual sequences in MCU history.

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER is a rockin great day with spectacular action, lots of laughs (the screaming goats!) & a profound story on absent gods & our desire for love. Natalie Portman makes a powerful comeback & Christian Bale kills it as the terrifying Gorr. Thor is the best Thor film yet! pic.twitter.com/s42SkqxlJj

Thor: Love and Thunder is a fun, tight, and mostly self-paced Marvel novel. This is further evidence that Taika Waititi knows how to make Thor a blast. Once again, heart and humor blend again to ensure a real good time. #ThorLoveAndThunder pic.twitter.com/Bkxn5HJFQe

#ThorLoveAndThunder is unexpectedly personal and heartfelt. Christian Bale and Natalie Portman''s performances demonstrate the trust of Waititi, providing an emotional story. This may be my favorite Thor film. pic.twitter.com/i7BpmQHvQ1

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) travels out on a journey of self-discovery, but his retirement is halted by a galactic killer namens Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) and the surprise return of his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).

Jane is now known as The Mighty Thor and powers Mjolnir to Thor''s surprise, although we believe he''ll receive the extra assistance. Thor joins Jane, King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and Korg on a cosmic journey like no other.

The next film, directed after Thor teamed up with the Guardians of the Galaxy at the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame, is the first time that an MCU hero has had four solo adventures. (Sorry, Iron Man, and Captain America.)

Although Gorr may be Thor''s greatest danger across those four films, Christian Bale has recently admitted that he didn''t really knew what the MCU was when he signed up.

"People would go, "Oh, look at this!" And I''d go, "I''ve done what?" he recalls. "I''m like, "The MCU?"

Thor: Love and Thunder is now available in UK cinemas on July 7 and in US cinemas on July 8.
