The Pokemon TCG and OCG have both made no announcements in the last 24 hours, and this week, new High-Class decks have been revealed.
Two decks will be joining the game each, including the VSTAR and VMAX versions of their featured Pokemon, according to PokeBeach. One will be for Deoxys and another for Zeraora.
For the first time, both of these Pokemon are getting the VSTAR treatment. It''s also included in each starter deck is a V version of their respective Pokemon.
Other items included include damage tokens, a coin with either Deoxys or Zeraora, and a deck to get armed with your new Pokemon.
Many of the reprinted cards that will be included in each deck were shown. For Zeraora these include Mareep, Thunderous, and more. Cresellia and Lumineon will also be introduced for the Deoxys deck.
These High-Class decks will be available alongside the Pokemon OCGs'' next set Lost Abyss on July 15th, so collectors in the West will need them to buy them online or through resale.
The Giratina VSTAR will be shown for the first time with a variety of other new VSTAR cards from the Hisui region. The set will also bring a retired game mechanic called the Lost Zone. This is a discard pile, which you cannot recover from.
Many of Lost Abyss cards will be translated and released in the Pokemon TCG set Lost Origin in September. Right now, there is no release in the West for Deoxys or Zeraoras High-Class decks.
