When it comes to the best Warzone loadouts, are you looking for the best LMG? The Warzone LMGs are all too often overlooked. In general, they take just as long to down enemies as one of Warzone''s most popular assault rifles, as well as their range of fire and ranged effectiveness. However, unlike the games most popular weapons, they are extremely heavy and have some of the worst aim down sight speeds, mobility, and gun ready times in the game.
Those factors can make clearing out buildings, re-armouring, and switching weapons a complicated task, and we have died countless times simply because we were stuck in the gun ready animation. Fortunately, some of these problems can be resolved with the right attachments, making the best Warzone LMGs surprisingly competitive in the appropriate scenario.
LMGs have fallen out of favor compared to other guns since the time to kill speed changes. These weapons can still be effective in the right loadouts, so you should certainly try one of these frightening weapons.
Here are the best Warzone LMGs:
- Bruen MK9
- Stoner 63
- FINN LMG
- MG 82
- Type 11
- RAAL MG
The best Bren loadout has dominated the meta in seasons previously. Despite going through a round of heavy nerfs, WZRanked''s win rate is comparable to some of the game''s best weapons. However, the Brens pick rate and kill-death ratio suggest it isn''t particularly popular among the Warzoneplayer base in Season 4.
Boosts are given to a range of accuracy-related shots to ensure you can laser beam those headshots from far away. One popular Bren loadout also adds the 100-round magazine into the mix, making it possible to stay longer between reloads and even take on multiple enemies in one go if you need.
In Warzone Season 4, the UGM-8 entered the game, introducing a lightweight LMG that can be used in a variety of different configurations. Its early days yet, but the UGM may be a contender for the top LMG in Warzone.
Our personal favourite is the best UGM loadout, which focuses on close range encounters, and with numerous recoil control attachments to turn this weapon into an SMG with 125 bullets in each clip. The UGM''s exceptional mobility make this weapon a great choice for players who prefer to use LMGs.
Due to the Bren, the PKM was beginning to gain traction towards the end of Season 2.
Our PKM loadout focuses on maximizing impressive damage and recoil control so that, providing youre at the right range, your shots keep their mark. Bear in mind that mobility is going to be low as are most LMGs, but there isn''t a lot youre going to be able to do it.
In Season 4, don''t call it a comeback, but the Bruen may be establishing itself as a solid LMG option.
The best Bruen loadout reduces weapons damage range while maintaining its accuracy at range. While the Bruens'' damage, bullet velocity, and overall time to kill speed are already competitive, our loadout takes on some mobility to get the best out of this weapon.
The MG42''s stock version features an extremely rapid firing rate, thus our best MG42 loadout is focused purely on accuracy and control to mitigate this powerful weapon.
If you like a medium range LMG that performs superbly, look no further than the MG42. The only thing youll need to keep in mind more so than with the Bruen above is that your mobility when holding the MG42 will be very low.
This LMG, who is very close to the MG42, has a decent time to shoot, especially if youre not great at landing headshots. The DP27 loadout works to the guns, while also trying to correct its horizontal recoil issues. This gun''s reload time is especially noticeable, so make sure you include that in before you go into a fight.
There is a misconception that all LMGs are heavy, slow, and unwieldy, but the RPD is a great example of a versatile LMG. When customised using the right set of attachments, the best RPD loadout feels just like a Krig 6.
The best RPD loadout will focus on RPDs recoil control, as well as bullet velocity and damage at range. Bren''s TTK is competitive with the meta-defining Bren, making it even more difficult with Season 3s Bren''s.
On Rebirth Island and Fortunes Keep, the Stoner 63 is proving popular this season, but overall it is stuck in a glut of mid-range LMGs that aren''t the best, nor the worst examples of this weapon class.
The Stoner 63''s best release enhances the weapon with a great magazine, making it versatile in mid-range engagements. Weve used a number of attachments to enhance its recoil control. In addition to this, there''s a fantastic barrel pick for this weapon that increases bullet velocity and recoil at the same time.
Another popular LMG for Rebirth Island matches is that the map is significantly smaller, but the weaknesses of this weapon class aren''t as significant as the actual one, therefore you''ll likely see more of these mid-tier LMGs being used. For the FINN specifically, there''s a chainsaw build which in the past has proved quite enticing.
Our FINN LMG loadout has boosted the effective damage range while managing the guns'' poor mobility. A fairly high fire rate and quick reload speed have all been used to mitigate these problems.
This M91 has never been particularly popular, but it is still in Season 3''s post-Bren utopia. It should be noted that this LMG is relatively easy to control, with powerful recoil stats that can be exploited for maximum gain. You also want to focus on accuracy and range, leaving the damage stats largely unchanged.
This LMG is proving to be an up-and-coming season as Season 4 approaches, although you may need to unlock it first depending on how much you played Warzone during the Cold War period. It''s a fantastic range of accuracy across all boundaries, which allows you ample loadout flexibility.
The best MG 82 loadout is because of its naturally high speed by increasing the pistol bullet velocity. Compared to other LMG on this list, the MG 82 has the least amount of recoil if you use the correct set of attachments.
We once praised this as the greatest LMG in the game, but it does not compete with the best of the best in this class, yet it is also holding its own in the midst of the more obvious mid-tier options in this class.
The best Holger-26 loadout can one of two ways transform it into a powerful mid-range rifle like every other LMG loadout, or turn it into a poor mans G36C. At the very least, it is a different skill to try out.
The Type 11 is a stunning mid-tier LMG, although it lacks the fire rate to take care of opponents up close. It''s a shame this gun is so good against the rest of the list, which now boasts one of the best accuracy statistics in the game.
A decent Type 11 loadout improves laser-beam accuracy and recoil control, although you must sacrifice mobility as always, but you can also save time and money to ensure this guns accuracy is being exploited to the maximum extent.
The SA 87 was placed down in the bottom tier of LMGs, but thats not to say it has anything to offer to someone looking for something different. One of the advantages of this rifle is that it is similar to the Holger-26, and it does not include as many LMG traits as the rest of the class. It''s slow to aim down sights, though it also has a surprisingly decent damage range and very little recoil.
When it comes to bringing out the most of this LMG, the best SA87 loadout will provide you with the game''s best max damage ranges stats as well as good mobility. Another option is to skipping a barrel attachment to make better use of the limited five slots.
The RAAL is a must see scenario, given that you can manage the low base mobility and narrow the sights. In the current season, there are already plenty of videos showing off the potential of this LMG in the right hands.
Check out the best RAAL MG loadout, which focuses on increasing range and accuracy. The weapons damage is already in good condition, but you can always boost it more as well as increasing recoil control.
This M60 at this stage in Season 4 like the RAAL, is narrowing its target time very clearly, which is a shame given its aggressive capability. It may be lethal if youre is already in position and waiting for your opponent, but the M60 only if you play defensively which isnt how Warzone works.
The best M60 loadout, apart from using another weapon entirely, follows the usual course for LMGs. Push those accuracy, damage, and range statistics as high as you, sacrificing some mobility if you need it, and maintain eye on recoil control.
We once hailed the MG34 as the second best LMG in the game. A year ago, you would have gained lots of support for this weapon, but it hasnt been able to compete in the face of the Bren and other newer guns that have been added since.
The best MG34 loadout is a tricky balance, bringing out the natural strengths of this class of weapon, while also trying to manage the MG34''s very specific drawbacks, in that it has a fast fire rate, but a painfully slow reload speed at nine seconds. It''s already good accuracy, damage, and range statistics, but with five slots you''ll need to make every attachment and perk count.
The Whitley was by far the worst LMG in the game by some distance, but the balance changes in Season 3 Reloaded have improved the weapons'' standing. Featuring upgrades to the Whitley''s minimum damage, max damage range, and improved damage multipliers, this weapon has a fresh lease of life.
The best Whitley loadout ensures maximum use of all ten attachment slots, focusing on improving recoil control without sacrificing damage too much. It is difficult to say whether the Whitley will become one of the best LMGs on this list, but things are looking better for this previously underused weapon.
