Both returning features from previous titles in this series and new ones to spice the experience in Mario Strikers: Battle League are on the rise. The Strikers Club is a platform for players to compete with friends in matches and earn unique rewards.
This segment of Mario Strikers: Battle League is more in-depth than one might imagine; it also includes several customization options for you and other club members. If you''re looking to maximize your time while playing this game mode, here''s everything you need to know.
How To Join A Strikers Club
You will be prompted with the option "Strikers Club" from the main menu to join. There are two methods that can be used to join a club: joining one of the recommended clubs or signing their specific Club Code.
Check with your local club before you''ve found the club that you wish to join; then make sure there is still at least one slot left to it. Once the owner of the club has accepted your request, you''re in! When you select the "Strikers Club," you''ll now have access to all of the features and actions you need to use.
How To Create A Strikers Club
If you don''t wish to join a club, you may create your own Strikers Club. Instead, select the "Create a Club" option. From here, you''ll be provided with several customization options for your club, including your club''s name, jersey, and stadium.
Once all of these options are available to your liking, you may create your Strikers Club. This club will now be live, open to players seeking a score. You may also provide your Club Code to any friends that wish to join your club, allowing them to enter it and request it to join.
At a time, a Strikers Club can have up to 20 members.
Strikers Club Customization
There are a number of things you may be able to customize once you are in a Strikers Club. First, you will need to select your Striker. This means you may only select one character at a time, but make sure you are sure that you select the Striker you prefer to play during your Strikers Club matches.
When you play a match, you may choose the number that your Striker will have on their jersey.
The Owner of the club has additional customization options. Tokens earned from playing Strikers Club matches are available to purchase and modify the stadium of your club. These include changes to your stadium''s theme, fence posts, goal-line decorations, and field.
Club members have the option to vote on which Stadium improvements they wish to make, giving everyone a voice in the club''s evolution.
Playing Strikers Club Matches
Through the main menu at Club Strikers, club members may play with up to one other player during these games; whether it be another on the same console or via an online connection. If you are playing with another club member online, you will have to create a place for them to join you; so they may join you before the match starts.
Once this is accomplished, you will begin matchmaking and then be paired up with another organization to compete against. You will be prompted to select the Striker that you previously chosen for your club, then fill the remaining spots with other Strikers used by other club members to complete the team.
These Mario Strikers: Battle League games will perform similarly to the other four game modes; you will be awarded coins, the standard in-game currency, and tokens, a currency specially for Strikers Clubs. Each currency will be divided according to your performance during the match.
Following the conclusion of your match, you will be able to rematch a team you played against. If they agree, you will then be placed in a match against the same opponents.
Strikers Club Seasons
Each season of The Strikers Club will be divided into "seasons," which will last one week, following the same set of in-game rules for the duration of the season. At the beginning of a season, your club will be placed in a group with four other clubs of similar ranking; other clubs that you will be competing against during the duration of the given season.
To be eligible to compete in the specific season, your club must be created at least one hour prior to the start of a season.
Your club will be awarded points for playing matches during a season, one point for a loss, two points for a draw, and six points for a win. Each season, you will be rewarded and promoted/demoted depending on how many points your club accumulated compared to other teams in your group; greater rank promotion is beneficial.
During each season, there will be a variety of achievements available; challenges that go with each season can be completed in exchange for coins. These may only be completed during the specific season that they have been coupled with, and will no longer be present following its conclusion.
After a season has ended, there will be a one-week off-season time. Club members may still participate in matches during these windows, but it will no impact on your club''s ranking.
