Into the Breach is getting a large update, which is now available on Netflix ...

The strategy game Into the Breach is expanding in all kinds of ways, according to developers Subset Games on Thursday. The first in the form of a literal expansion, the Advanced Edition of the game is coming July 19, which will include new missions, new weapons, a new difficulty mode, seven new languages and plenty of additional features as a free update for all current platforms.

Second, Into the Breach will be distributed to iOS and Android through a partnership with Netflix, so that Netflix subscribers may download the game as part of their subscription. Subset Games claims that the game will be similar to that of other games, apart from a redesigned interface, and that it will not include ads or in-app purchases and will include the Advanced Edition content. This version will also be released on July 19.

Into the Breach will be able to download a physical version for Nintendo Switch through a partnership with Fangamer, and a new version will be available later in the year.

Into the Breach has long been a favorite of many on the Polygon team in style and execution. Despite its impressive design and visual appearance, Cass Marshall wrote back in 2018. It goes beyond its puzzle/strategy game contemporary by incorporating a great time-traveling mechanic.
