In Hyenas'' fiction, according to the game''s official description:

The planet has passed, the rich have colonized Mars, and the rest of humanity is living their worst life in The Taint, a huge orbiting slum. While humanity is attempting to survive, Mars billionaires are more concerned about fulfilling their nostalgic dreams. Plunderships, large retail spacecrafts, and non-profit organizations, are putting their own money to work to keep the animals safe.

Battles in Hyenas will be conducted in zero gravity, using futuristic weapons and defensive measures, like protective foam that can imprison your enemies or set up on-the-fly walls. At the games website, interested players may register to participate in an alpha test.

Hyenas will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. A release date has not been announced.
