The Top 10 Pink Diamond Cards in MyTeam, Ranked in NBA 2K22

The Top 10 Pink Diamond Cards in MyTeam, Ranked in NBA 2K22 ...

There are no Galaxy Opal cards in NBA2K22''s MyTeam mode. Even after these cards are released, a high-level Pink Diamond card is often better than a low Galaxy Opal card. Gamers with these lineups are either very rich or very talented, and sometimes both.

Not all Pink Diamond cards are created equally. Many of these cards have worse offense, defense, and fewer Hall of Fame Badges than regular Diamond players beneath them. Here are the cards they must be gunning for for those who are interested in developing a team that is the best of the NBA 2K22.

Hodey Johns updated the game on June 24th, 2022. Historically, Pink Diamond cards were the end-of-season rewards for doing absolutely everything or bought for tons of cash. Now, they still dominate, but they are much more accessible. There are also a lot of new cards on this list, which includes a chart for studious gamers who like to analyze the cards themselves.

10 Mario Chalmers

Position PG/SG
Offensive Rating 95
Defensive Rating 99
Legendary Badges 20
Gold Badges 41
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

Mario Chalmers is a skill on offense, focusing on long-range shots and passing. But what makes him unique is his defensive skills and statistics. Games are won and lost on turnovers, that''s for certain, and hardly anyone succeeds in such high turnovers.

9 Juwan Howard

Position PF/SF
Offensive Rating 99
Defensive Rating 98
Legendary Badges 20
Gold Badges 42
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

Few things throw off opponents more than a power forward who can do it all. Juwan Howard can still recover and dunk against the NBA''s best as any power forward is anticipated. However, when Howard is dropping times and raining down three-pointers, the power forward draws an excessive amount of focus. Other players on the team will be open for more opportunities when Howard is at his best.

8 Roy Hibbert

Position C
Offensive Rating 92
Defensive Rating 99
Legendary Badges 21
Gold Badges 23
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

This list is dominated by players that do everything pretty well. That''s not a bad standard, but sometimes gamers don''t want a well-rounded jack-of-all trades-master-of-none on their side. If that''s the case, Roy Hibbert is a smart man. It''s important to focus on finishing on the inside and attacking defensively. It''s also a responsibility for a center, and it''s critical to be cautious.

7 Andrew Bogut

Position PF/C
Offensive Rating 92
Defensive Rating 99
Legendary Badges 21
Gold Badges 27
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

When Andrew Bogut arrives on the pitch, he will make his team feel like they''ve got two centers on the court without surrendering anything statistically. His 92 on offense isn''t enticing, but he''s a huge fan. In a team that likes to get rain from the arc, Bogut is the best teammate.

6 Yakhouba Diawara

Position
Offensive Rating
Defensive Rating
Legendary Badges
Gold Badges
Silver Badges
Bronze Badges

One of the things that beginners learn early on about MyTeam is that the point guard is often assigned to dribble the ball, drive inside, and, if the play isn''t there, pass to the open man. Yakhouba Diawara is built for that. He''s also a few inches above the rest of the other point guards in height, which is always helpful in creating match reports. When he gets it, pass to the newly open man for some free points.

5 Walter Davis

Position SG/SF
Offensive Rating 99
Defensive Rating 96
Legendary Badges 21
Gold Badges 35
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

When he''s got the ball, playing against Walter Davis is extremely wacky. He''s got huge bonuses to kicking inside and huge shooting bonuses to shoot from range, as opposed teams will try to contain him with a double team. That''s also a concern since he''s got access to the best playmaking badges in the game. There is no right way to defend himself and that''s why his card is so wreaking to stop.

4 Franz Wagner

Position SF/PF
Offensive Rating 99
Defensive Rating 97
Legendary Badges 21
Gold Badges 35
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

It''s difficult to find a card more balanced than Franz Wagner. And at a small forward, that''s exactly what gamers desire from that position. He can defend against centers, pass like a point guard, and shoot like a shooting guard. In MyTeam, this kind of versatility is crucial to expanding the playbook. Call any maneuver and Wagner will be able to pull it off.

3 Michael Carter-Williams

Position PG/SG
Offensive Rating 99
Defensive Rating 99
Legendary Badges 21
Gold Badges 38
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

What do gamers demand from their point guard? Usually, two things. They want him to be the best defensive badges in the game. And then they want him to be able to pass. Michael Cart-Williams scores both boxes sympathetically. He''s also good for some points, but his many legendary badges are in these two categories.

2 Lauri Markkanen

Position PF/SF
Offensive Rating 99
Defensive Rating 99
Legendary Badges 21
Gold Badges 39
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

Imagine an amazing power forward build this good that features a seven-foot-tall player. That''s Lauri Markkanen, a tough matchup for a center, extremely difficult for a power forward, and simply impossible for a small forward (which Markkanen can also play). This is a score that is expletive-inducing and will result in several mismatched victories.

1 Popeye Jones

Position PF/SF
Offensive Rating 95
Defensive Rating 99
Legendary Badges 21
Gold Badges 45
Silver Badges 0
Bronze Badges 0

The first thing is that, although Popeye Jones is listed as a power forward, it''s best to move Jones to his secondary position as, given his height, he will instantly become one of the best small forwards. It''s not hard to see why. He''s got at least a gold or better in every defensive badge and a couple of impressive badges among the four categories.

NBA 2K22 is available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
