Risk of Rain 2 characters

Commando, who came from the first Risk of Rain, is a jack-of-all-trades, but is somewhat of a master of none. Hes fairly straightforward to get the swing of, with a simple kit that remains robust throughout the whole game, although he has very few significant strengths or weaknesses.

At the start of the game, you have to set Commando by default.

Huntress is a returning character from the first Risk of Rain, not a glass cannon, in that she is delicate, but extremely flexible, capable of dealing with a lot of damage.

When you start the game, you do not have to access Huntress by default.

Bandit is another returning character in Risk of Rain 2, capable of dealing a lot of damage from behind. He excels in stealthy tactics, making use of daggers, guns, and smoke bombs that can stun enemies. He is mobile and versatile, but requires some player skill to truly shine.

By completeing one of the third stages, you can unlock Bandit.

MUL-T is a multi-purpose robot with an extraordinary ability to function and be well-equipped. It is also well-known for its high health and ability, and plays as MUL-T allows you to choose two of four primary weapons, which you may modify in several ways, either by swapping through the two weapons and equipment through Retool, or by using both primary weapons at once.

You must defeat the first Teleporter event five times in MUL-T following the verified challenge.

Engineer constructs a range of deployable gadgets, including turrets, that he assembles in a variety of defensive measures. As a result, you should focus on those that will benefit him as much as he does.

You have the advantage of being able to unlock Engineer through Engineering Perfection, which you get bycompleting 30 stages in Risk of Rain 2 over any number of runs.

REX is a half-robot, half-plant, and is capable of sifting out powerful attacks from a distance, but also by sacrificing portions of its HP to do so. Fortunately, its also capable of stumbling opponents and draining health from them to recoverate HP. Nevertheless, when you play as REX, you may expect your health to consistently yoyo, but you''ll always be relatively safe.

The Power Plant challenge enables you to unlock REX by completeing the challenge, where you must repair the broken robot with a fuel array.

Loader is a surprisingly large and versatile cargo loader capable of attacking enemies with one of the most powerful attacks in the game. If you succeed in getting the swing of velocity when playing as Loader, you can defeat many powerful beasties with just one punch.

In Sirens Call, you must complete the Offline challenge, which includes defeating the alloy worship unit.

Acrid, an ex-prisoner, is a poison-spewing badass who takes down enemies with powerful, melee-ranged attacks and face-melting DoT, which has the highest base damage stat of all of the survivors (not including the criminally overpowered Heretic). It also has a few useful long-range and crowd control capabilities combined in, making it a powerful fighter in almost any situation. Acrid may be triggered by completion of the To Be Left Alone challenge, which you can challenge by traversing the nine challenge cells in the Void Fields.

Captain is the commander of UES Safe Travels, who can control the battlefield with their help. He is adept at reducing a wide range of tactical drops from orbit, from healing beacons to an intense kinetic blast called OGM-72 DIABLO Strike.

To defeat the last boss and defeating the main game, you must complete the Washed Away challenge.

Void Fiend is a part of the Survivors of the Void expansion. You unlock Void Fiend through the Dragged Below challenge, in which you either must defeat the planetarium and reach the end, or complete wave 50 of the Simulacrum.

Railgunner is a well-known markswoman with a lethal eye for her target. She is a long-range, single-target survivor who uses a powerful railgun, deploying clever homing rounds and devastating piercing shots. As a result of both this and her extremely powerful supercharge, her damage output is fantastic, and she also has excellent crowd control abilities.

The Heretic, also known as Ku-skan, is a secret playable character. Instead of picking her from the character selection screen, you must transform into her by holding all four Heresy items simultaneously. This is a skill worth pursuing, owing to her incredible ability, superior base health, and increased movement speed, and she can even triple jump. One downside is that she has poor health regeneration rather than recovering it.
