Capcom plans to return the Mega Man Battle Network games in 2023. On Tuesday, Capcom presented the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, a 10-game collection of tactical role-playing games developed by the Mega Man franchise.
The Battle Network series began in 2001 with Mega Man Battle Network, a game set in an alternate Mega Man universe where computer programs and networking, not robotics, drive technological progress. In the series fiction, players battle a bribesome organization known as the WWW (World Three) through an ever-expanding computer network, using Battle Chips, programs that discourage viruses and hackers. Capcom, starting the games in pairs a la Pokemon Red and Blue.
The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC, as well as the following games:

- Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon

The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will feature an art gallery with over 1,000 illustrations and a music collection dating back to 150 songs.
In recent years, Capcom has released many Mega Man collections, including the Mega Man Legacy Collection, Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Mega Man X Legacy Collection, and the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.
