Season 2 of La Brea Teases the Kids' Whenabouts and Graveside Vigil

Season 2 of La Brea Teases the Kids' Whenabouts and Graveside Vigil ...

In the first teaser for the new season of NBCs hit freshman drama, La Breas Josh reveals the truth; while the video above sheds light on the mystery, he and Riley landed on some grass! in a field! Eve (played by Natalie Zea) will be reeling from her son, Josh, after mistakenly passing through a portal to SPOILERAHEAD! the year 1988.

Levi (Nicholas Gonzalez) and Sam (Jon Seda) are both standing at a makeshift grave, for, we will presume, Veronica, who was last seen snared by a bear trap.

La Brea began with a huge sinkhole opening in the middle of Los Angeles, causing hundreds of people to fall into a dangerous 10,000 B.C. During the same time, Gavin Harris (Eoin Macken) and his daughter Izzy were working to reconcile their wife/mom Eve (Natalie Zea) and their son/brother Josh (Jack Martin), who had fallen into the sinkhole.

Gavin, Izzy, and Ella, aka grown-up Lily (Michelle Vergara Moore) leapt in love with a tiny Seattle sinkhole, which ended up on a beach around 10,000 years ago.

In Season 2, NBC tells us that the Harris family is still separated, as Eve doesn''t know yet that Gavin and Izzy have arrived in prehistoric Seattle and now must brave the elements and animals to make their way to the L.A. area.

The second season of La Brea will produce a total of 14 episodes, a sharp increase from its 10-episode freshman run. The catch is that due to the extensive post-production required on the visual effects-heavy drama, Season 2 is likely to be split into two batches, thus that this TV seasons top-rated freshman series may still return in the fall specifically on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 9/8c.
