Ryan Reynolds Superhero Flick Will Poke Fun At Marvel Films, According to the Writer of Deadpool 3 ...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a huge franchise, but it is expected to increase throughout Phase Four. This is partly because of Disney''s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, which allowed heroes like the Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Deadpool to finally join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A ton of debat about how the Ryan Reynolds R-Rated hero will transform into a shared universe in a upcoming Marvel movie, and now the writer of Deadpool 3s discusses how the superhero flick will poke fun at

Ryan Reynolds'' resounding performance is at the core of the Deadpool franchise, as he constantly breaks the fourth wall and makes fun of X-Men, the DCEU, and the MCU. But now that he is starting out of the latter cinematic universe, hell be able to interact directly with characters as he gets distracted. Rhett Reese, the co-writer of Deadpool 3, recently appeared on the Post-Credit Podcast (opens in a new tab), explaining how

What movies have they given us? 25? 26? 28? Something like that. There is a treasure trove of things to look out for right now. And Deadpools is an equal [opportunist] game.

The color me stoked. It sounds like nobody will be safe when Ryan Reynolds'' misgivings antihero finally joins the MCU on the big screen. While fans have already waited years for the long-awaited threequel to complete production, it might just be worth the wait to see the Merc with the Mouth in all his meta glory.

Rhett Reeses calls on Chris Hemsworth to star in his new Netflix film Spiderhead. Eventually, the conversation with Paul Wernick shifted to Deadpool 3. Since the first two films were released in such short succession, fans are eager to return to the R-rated property. There is currently no release date or shoot schedule for the next three sequel. Though the production team is working together, including director Shawn Levy.

While Rhett Reese was cautious to keep his cards close to the chest about which MCU events/characters will be fun of throughout Deadpool 3, he did offer a small tidbit about how Ryan Reynolds''s signature character will journey through the shared universe.

I believe it offers a wonderful opportunity for fish out of water. Deadpool is a lunatic at the core of a movie. Usually the lunatics are the supporting characters, and the protagonist is remarkably sane. So to drop a lunatic into a very normal condition, it''s just straight butter. It''s going to be really fun.

Ryan Reynolds isn''t doing better right now, because comments like this show show how amazing Deadpool might be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the huge franchise usually takes itself pretty seriously, the Merc with the Mouth is sure to give a narrative shift. Lets just hope he''ll be able to have his R-Rated sense of humor in Deadpool 3 and beyond.

On July 8, the next installment of the MCU is Thor: Love and Thunder. In the meantime, check out the film release dates for your next movie experience.
