Star Wars: KOTOR II Gets a Hotfix Update For a Game-Breaking Switch Bug ...

Earlier in June, not long after the release of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, players discovered a bug in the game, hindering them from going through the game.

When landing on Onderon, aspyr approached the scene, and advised players to resort to a warp cheat, as described on social media at the time.

The developer has issued a bug report resolving this issue, as well as the patches notes.

The Sith Lords will be released today, June 30, 2022, at 12 PM CST! This hotfix addresses some of our top player-reported issues, but you may see the full list of bug fixes here.

Patch Notes: Addressed a crash that would happen after certain cutscenes (i.e. Basilisk scene on Onderon) - Addressed an issue where the game would go missing on certain mid/late game saves. (Dantooine, Korriban) - Addressed a problem where players might become stuck in a loading screen loop when Sith Troopers board the Ebon Hawk on Peragus
