With an Avenger like her, Elizabeth Olsen explained how Marvel Worries About Pirates ...

As weve learned over the years, Marvel Studios has just kept track of its movie and television projects, and it makes sense that ignorance might be bliss for Marvel actors like Elizabeth Olsen when it comes to promoting the most recent Marvel films like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but according to the Scarlet Witch actress, piracy concerns extend to her.

As it turns out, Elizabeth Olsen watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (which recently hit Disney+ after earning $950 million worldwide) and was given the film by Marvel in a way that has resulted in her declining to present day. In her words:

I havent seen it yet, but I am still one of those people who wants to learn something before making it easier. When we had the premiere, I refused to sit through it, and so I asked them to send me a copy so I could watch it, and it had my name on it, and it had the time that I was watching it, and I didn''t want to watch it as well.

While Elizabeth Olsen was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actress admitted she has yet to see the 2022 blockbuster due to the events of the premiere. She had a cold on the night, so she requested what she described as a screener to watch the film at home. However, the copy contained a watermark of her name. Olsen continued:

My name would be on it and the exact time and date. It''s just distracting. Could you imagine if I did [pirate the film?] Like, how do you even do that?

Screeners of movies that are shown before their release date and at home typically use watermarks and timestamps on them. In fact, journalists who receive these films early can relate to the experience of seeing a whole movie with their entire name across the screen to ensure that one does not screen or record the film before it is released to the public. However, Elizabeth Olsen would certainly earn one some type of early copy of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness without a watermark.

Elizabeth Olsen spoke to Jimmy Fallon about her dislike for pirating Marvel projects, because duh her movie! It''s pretty funny when you think about it, but then again, Marvel is a role. Remember, the studio told the actress shed be reprising Scarlet Witch in Multiverse of Madness shortly before she first appeared, and she was on set shooting WandaVision, leaving her confused. Olsen has also been honest about her Marvel role, perhaps removing her from other movies.

While you''re watching Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, you may pay for a Disney+ subscription, but keep an eye on the Doctor Doom easter egg.
