Sony Pictures has announced that I Know What You Did Last Summer will be released on September 27, 2022, just in time for the 25th anniversary celebrations.
When it was first released, I Know What You Did Last Summer, which had over $125 million worldwide, and it will never end with a $17 million budget. The film, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prince Jr., and Johnny Galecki, would eventually be released. Hewitt and Prince would reprise their roles in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
Both Gellar and Prince would play in Warner Brothers' infamous Scooby-Doo live-action duology, while Gellar also played a minor role in Wes Cravens Scream 2. However, Williamson wrote the screenplay for both films because his success with the latter slasher helped get the first film made.
The franchise, which began out strong, quickly jumped off the deep end after one season earlier this year, but was immediately canceled.
This 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and Digital combo pack comes with a 4K transfer from the original camera negative, as well as several new new features, including 'My Own Summer: An Interview with Director Jim Gillespie' and a filmmakers commentary. Finally, the 4K comes with a sleek red-accented cover with all of the characters, including the famous fisherman killer with their hook at the ready.
I Know What You Did Last Summer was a clear sequel to horror's Scream in 1997. However, the film has gained a loyal fan base. Overall, this is a fun throwback murder mystery revenge tale that they just have to endure. Lines like what you expect are engraved in the minds of most horror enthusiasts, and the fisherman killer is one of the most.
The more underrated slasher villains. The film also does a fantastic job of keeping you on your toes, making you never really sure who the final girl or killer will be.
