The God of Thunder is recruiting an army in the teaser for 'Thor: Love and Thunder.' ...

The latest teaser for Thor: Love and Thunder hints at Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder will have to create in order to defeat Thor's villain. Moreover, the disturbing new footage features him unleashing Thor's ultimate powers in the Taika Waititi-directed superhero sequel.

The God of Thunder is looking to recruit an army of gods from their universe, along with Natalie Portman's Jane Foster. All to fight the powerful foe against Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale. It appears like a no-brainer Thor is going out of his way to warn and recruit other gods, like Russell Crowe's Zeus.

Thor is going head-to-head with Gorr, unleashing the full power of the God of Thunder. The most epic moment of the trailers thus far, it is exciting to see Thor still be capable of pushing his limits as the decades-spanning hero. Of course, he will have some help, as the Mighty Thor and Tessa Thompson's King Valkyrie battle alongside the powerful villain.

As trailers continue to be released, critics across the globe have already given their reactions to the highly-anticipated film. The official runtime for the film has also dropped online, which has nearly reached the two-hour mark, achieving the longest MCU film in five years. However, critics argue the length is excellent as Phase 4 has had all of its benefits to offer thus far.

Portmans Jane Foster will be hailed as The Mighty Thor, while Thompson will be forced to confront Gorr the God Butcher, a vengeful new foe who is targeting the Marvel Cinematic Universe's entire history. Waititi is back in charge of the director's chair after revamping the Thor franchise with Ragnarok.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be available on July 8, 2022. Check out the teaser below:
