Neil Patrick Harris Dissects Netflix's Uncoupled Offerings One Major Benefit ...

Neil Patrick Harris is back in New York City and looking for love on Netflixs Uncoupled. If you're expecting to see him play another lady man like Barney Stinson, you've come to the wrong show. A good show, but the wrong show.

The Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman's eight-episode comedy will premiere on Friday. Michael is a Manhattan real estate agent who is blindsided by a breakup. It's the catalyst for an emotional quest to discover what (and who) comes next for him.

Michael is Harris' first gay TV role as a series regular, after having been openly gay for over two decades. (He most famously guest-starred in Russell T. Davies' Its a Sin mini.)

There's a big difference between homosexual and straight living that Harris can't deny. It was also nice that when I was ass-naked and dry humping someone I barely knew, it was also a guy that I found quite cute, according to him.

In Michael's first season of Uncoupled, he encounters quite a few people. Look out for familiar faces like Gilles Marini (Sex and the City), Dan Amboyer (Younger), and Peter Porte (Dashing in December). More specifically, look for them near Michael's bed.
