The release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is still a long way off, and in the meantime, many talented artists have been sharing their own interpretations of some of the new Pokemon. The Pokemon that tends to get the most fan art are the new starter Pokemon for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The three starter Pokemon for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet include the grass-type feline Sprigatito, the dashing water-type duck Quaxly, and the crocodile-like fire-type Fuecoco. Since their reveal, these three starter Pokemon have had a lot of fan art come out about their shiny versions and evolutions. Recently, a fan shared their interpretation of Fuecoco, one of the starter Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
PaleAd6109, a Reddit user, posted a photo on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet subreddit that depicts Fuecoco's origins, together with the second and third evolved forms that they believe might match the new fire-type Pokemon. However, due to recent leaks, the images have been marked as possible spoilers for viewers on the subreddit.
Incugator was named by the artist after a mixture of incubation and alligator. The Pokemon's primary color was changed to orange with red and white on its underbelly. The user provided their own Pokedex entry for their interpretation of Fuecoco's second evolution.
The third evolution of Fuecoco is much larger than the second, appearing to be more crocodilian with yellow as the primary color. It's neither wholly dead nor alive and even transports evil spirits to the afterlife by providing them passage on its back.
The general response to the post has been generally positive, with many in the comments section raving about Fuecoco's evolutions. Several commenters liked the different color choices as well as the user's descriptions of the evolved forms before the games come out.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are scheduled to be released on Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022.
