Michael, an NPH character, beats a bouquet of red roses to death on the edge of a trash can in a fit of anger and grief; Colin walking out the door seemingly out of nowhere; Michael asleep in the same bed that used to hold both of them; and Michael sick with grief in a public bathroom. The scene snaps back to Michael as he recovers from the surge of emotion; he smiles casually; the stranger moves on; and Michael smiles happily.

What's the Plot of Uncoupled?

Uncoupled is a journey of brokenness, learning to move on, and accepting joy and healing after suffering trauma and pain. There isn't any external pressure, no arguing, and the story only begins when Michael is ready to begin the healing process again. We see him eating dinner with a group of friends and roller-skating with them on a rink full of rainbow lights.

Who Is Making Uncoupled?

Darren Star joins him on Netflix to work for Uncoupled, following his success with Emily in Paris. He is well-known for Beverly Hills, 90210, and Sex and the City. Jeffrey Richman has also worked with him on Sex and the City previously, including Modern Family and Frasier. The two men are also the executive producers of the series, along with Lilly Burns and Tony Hernandez, married couple who founded Jax Media (Russian Doll, Search Party).
