The film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 received its first trailer only after a week of development. New behind-the-scenes images from the production's farewell dinner have been released by director James Gunn.
The two polaroids shared by Gunns twitter show most of the trilogy's main players living their best lives at the dinner. According to Gunn, Dave Bautista isn't present because he was never on set during filming.
Vol. 3 marks the end of an MCU era. While introducing new exciting characters, such as Will Poulters Adam Warlock, who was previously teased by fans for the story of the Mount Rushmore.
The official plot synopsis for Vol. 3 is as follows:
Our beloved band of misfits are looking a little different these days in Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Peter Quill must rally his troops around him to defend the universe as well as protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not successfully completed, might lead to the death of the Guardians as we know them.
The return of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be an emotional rollercoaster journey, but we still have a lot of time to prepare as fans. Their own Holiday Special will launch later this year on Disney+. These smile-inducing images are just a reminder of how wonderful this series' ensemble cast is, and it's going to be difficult to say goodbye to their zany characters.
