This weekend, GameStop is back with another next-gen restock, with PS5 consoles available from July 30-31.
If you're one of the gamers who's still looking for their next-gen (a term that becomes increasingly ridiculous as the months go by) console, congratulations.
GameStop is once again offering PS5 consoles in-store this weekend, as well as several before them. However, this weekends drop will once again be in bundle form, along with some additional items.
And while an increased price may not be something you'd expect, there's still a good supply of devices.
With this Best Buy restock toggle trick, you can get a PS5 console today! And, best of all, those consoles come without any pack-in offers.
GameStop PS5 Restock In-Store on July 30-31
This weekend, GameStop will have new PS5 bundles for sale, from July 30-31. Sales started on July 29, but there's likely to be more than enough stock to fill.
GameStop announced that a limited amount of PS5 consoles would be removed from stores on Saturday, July 29, as part of their new-generation membership. Console purchasers must ensure they have a valid membership before purchasing the next-gen bundle.
If you are not already a PowerUp Rewards Pro member, you may sign up on the GameStop website for $14.99 per year.
This weekends bundles might be more expensive, according to reports. GameStops PS5 bundles include:
- PS5 Console
- Additional DualSense Controller
- 1 Game (Elden Ring/Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart/Far Cry 6)
- $75 GameStop Gift Card
The price for the bundle looks to be about $800, which seems to be too high for what the package contains. However, for many console purchasers, it may still be worth the cost.
Do you fancy an additional charge? Of course not, one store sells individual PS5 consoles in-store every day!
Fortunately, GameStop has reported that nearly every one of its stores will be receiving PS5 consoles for this weekend's restocking. You can check if your shop is taking part in the drop right here.
We do not think you'll need to be too quick to respond to this drop at this point in the PS5's life cycle, especially as the console is still in short supply.
You can also sign up with Amazon to receive a PS5 restock invite right now. The world's largest retailer is giving out direct links to new stock as and when it drops.
