The Suicide Squad star lands the lead role in Euphoria ...

Storm Reid, star of Euphoria and The Suicide Squad, has been cast in the upcoming coming-of-age film Becoming Noble.

According to Deadline, she will also be an executive producer on the program alongside her mother, Robyn Simpson.

Noble (played by Reid) is a high school senior who discovers she is the princess of an African nation. She then travels back to her home country to learn about her heritage and decide if being a royal is something she wants to be a part of her life.

The release date and the director have not yet been announced.

Reid joined the cast of HBO's adaptation of The Last of Us earlier this year. She plays Riley in the drama, an orphan girl raised in post-apocalyptic Boston.

Joel Miller takes on the responsibility of getting Ellie, 14, out of the quarantine zone to safety, as she may have the answer to quashing the virus. As the unlikely allies battle to save the world both from the infected and the political maneuvers of humans, we anticipate a connection between the two.

Pedro Pascal of The Mandalorian plays smuggler Joel, while Bella Ramsey of Game of Thrones plays Ellie.

Euphoria is returning for a third season, and Reid is set to reprise her role as Rue's (played by Zendaya) sister Gia Bennett.

"I just saw something that said 2024, which kind of makes sense." "We'll go back and shoot maybe in November, I've never heard."

Euphoria is available on HBO in the United States, and on NOW and Sky Atlantic in the United Kingdom.
