City on a Hill Season 3 Preview
The outcry between FBI Agent Jackie Rohr (Kevin Bacon) and Assistant District Attorney DeCourcy Ward (Aldis Hodge) developed into an all-out conflict when they discovered they both wanted to take Anton (Shannon Wallace) down.
Ward and his wife Siobhan (Lauren E. Banks) were also dealing with the loss of their unborn child, Anton shot his lawyer accidentally while trying to murder Ward, then a rogue cop took Anton out, and Antons brother Kelvin (Kameron Kierce) was murdered in prison. In the season two finale, Ward was unsure if he even wanted to be an assistant director anymore.
According to a Showtime press release, the show will focus on the high society area of Boston known as Beacon Hill when it returns for its third season.
Jackie Rohr (Bacon) finds a lucrative new job as security for a wealthy family. When an inquiry begins, ADA Decourcy Ward (Hodge) sees an opportunity to finally remove the machinery perpetuating a broken criminal justice system. Siobhan Quays (Banks), representing a construction worker who was severely injured on the Big Dig, observes the city's corruption firsthand, all while coping with the trauma of her past year.
Season three of Gods and Monsters is titled and its description reads, Jackie Rohr, a former FBI employee, gets a job offer from his old mentor; ADA Decourcy Ward seeks a promotion; Siobhan Quays files a lawsuit against a construction giant; Jenny Rohr (Jill Hennessy) volunteers at a local shelter.
A Program of Complete Disorder is released on August 7th. Jackie (Corbin Bernsen) goes to the Ward house in Brooklyn, where Decourcy is retaliating for the death of BPD officer Russ Wallace (Callum Adams). The episode sparked a legal battle for Siobhan, who was impaled by Mark Ryder.
City on a Hill is available on Showtime on Sundays at 10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific times.
