Yoimiya's Best Weapons for Genshin Impact

Yoimiya's Best Weapons for Genshin Impact ...

Weapons are the best items that determine a character's role in Genshin Impact, whether it's a DPS or a Support. One reason for this is because weapons have a Base ATK stat that cannot be found in any other artifact, talent, or Constellation other than the characters own Base ATK.

Yoimiyas case is a blessing as well as a curse, since a decent 5-star bow is required to unlock her full potential. Yes, she can still operate with a F2P Genshin Impact weapon or even a 3-star bow, but they aren't very comparable to what she can achieve when wielding a good 5-star bow.

6 Rust

  • Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 41.3% ATK
  • R5 Effect: Increases Normal Attack DMG by 80% but decreases Charged Attack DMG by 10%.

R5 Rust is the finest 4-star weapon for Yoimiya in Genshin Impact, because it increases her normal attacks by a whopping 80%, which is basically where all of her damage comes from. Due to Yoimiya's artifacts, players must recover the lost CRIT.

5 Amos' Bow

  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 49.6% ATK%
  • Effect: Increases Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 12%. After a Normal or Charged Attack is fired, DMG dealt increases by a further 8% every 0.1 seconds the arrow is in the air for up to 5 times.

Amos' Bow is a classic straight-to-DMG bow that excels at maximizing the ATK of the wielding Genshin Impact characters. Two main difficulties Amos' Bow encounters with her are: one, Amos grants a lot of Base ATK and ATK% to Yoimiyas kit, which would significantly reduce any extra ATK she gains via third-party buffers (like Bennetts Burst).

Yoimiya's arrows are quick, and she relies on her Normal attacks that require her to be close to the target in most cases. Thus, Yoimiya will have a hard time fully benefiting from Amos Bows' DMG buff.

4 Polar Star

  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 33.1% CRIT Rate
  • Effect: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack of Ashen Nightstar will be gained for 12s. When 1/2/3/4 stacks of Ashen Nightstar are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Ashen Nightstar created by the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst will be counted independently of the others.

Because of Yoimiya's inability to activate its passive, many Genshin Impact travelers would ignore Polar Star. Still, Polar Star has a high enough CRIT Rate and a high enough Base ATK, putting it ahead of all 5-star and 4-star bows.

3 Skyward Harp

  • Primary Stat: 674 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 22.1% CRIT Rate
  • Effect: Increases CRIT DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.

In Genshin Impact, Skyward Harp will always top the bow weapon tier lists. Harp has a general passive ability that can work on any unit that wields the bow, as well as Yoimiya's Primary and Secondary stats, boosting her stats by a lot of Base ATK and CRIT Rate.

2 Aqua Simulacra

  • Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 88.2% CRIT DMG
  • Effect: HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether or not the character is on-field.

Many would suggest that Aqua Simulacra is a good bow for Yoimiya. In fact, Aqua Simulacra is the Staff of Homa for bow users in Genshin Impact. Theres a difference though: Homa grants its wielder a DMG bonus based on the unit's current HP, while Aqua grants a flat buff that isnt affected by anything.

1 Thundering Pulse

  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 66.2% CRIT DMG
  • Effect: Increases ATK by 20% and grants the might of the Thunder Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, the Thunder Emblem increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40%. The character will obtain 1 stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack's duration is calculated independently.

Yoimiya's best bow in Genshin Impact is Thundering Pulse. The weapon has everything Yoimiya requires, from high Base ATK to CRIT DMG Secondary Stats, as well as a great passive effect that boosts Yoimiya's Normal ATK DMG by up to 40% on its first refinement.

Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is also in the works.
