The Artist Shares a Zelda: Breath of the Wild SNES-Style Title Screen ...

Many Nintendo fans may have turned their attention to the upcoming Breath of the Wild 2, which will be released next year, but others continue to use the game's original graphics. For example, one artist gave the 2017 game a retro makeover.

1TZAH, an artist, posted a tweet related to the Legend of the Zelda series. This fan art sparked a debate over whether or not the game should be on older hardware.

Link and Zelda sat next to a stream in Breath of the Wild as the sun set behind the Dueling Peaks. At the bottom of the screen, the artist indicated the game's name, and the text PRESS START flashed at the bottom.

Unsurprisingly, many fans of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have commented on the 1TZAH fan art. Over 17.6K people have commented on the art's retro appearance, including one fan, AjthreetJ on Twitter.

This title screen art based on Breath of the Wild was created as a result of a poll in which the artist asked members of the community to vote on which Zelda game they liked the most. For those who are interested, 1TZAH stated that they would make a wallpaper version for Wallpaper Engine on Steam.

It is often inspiring to see members of the gaming community create stunning artwork based on their favorite games and series. For example, another gamer created an animation inspired by The Legend of Zelda for a class at their university.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now available on Switch and Wii U.
