Melanie Lynskey discusses her future with the Yellowjackets ...

The wait for the premiere of aYellowjacketsseason 2 might be long, but there is still something to be excited about at the moment! The cast and crew are expected to begin filming next month, and secrets seem to be the name of the game for now, in many forms.

Melanie Lynskey, a series star, talked with Deadline as a part of her (much deserved) Emmy campaign, and she noted that the writers have a good many scripts done at this point for the upcoming season; however, she hasn't seen them! She joked that the writers are intentionally keeping things hidden from her as she does all of this press, so there are no secrets that end up getting revealed.

Now is the time to see our Yellowjackets season 1 finale review! We've included everything we've learned so far about the big events and cliffhangers. Be sure to SUBSCRIBEto Matt & Jess on YouTube for more season 2 coverage.

Along with the secrets of the show, Lynskey does not know when the show will return, and the same might be said for most of the writers and producers. Even these people may be completing a lot of what they intend to do when it comes to their future plans. More than likely, they understand that doing so will not be necessary. They can then base the date on the state of production and weaknesses in the television market.

Season 2 of The Winds of Winter 2023 is expected to arrive within the first few months of 2023, although it would be nice to see it in December.

Melanies interview is always a pleasure to see because she loves the work that goes into playing Shauna and she is eager to stay on the show for as long as she is needed.
