Liberating colonies in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
The Consul is in charge of the colonies in Xenoblade Colonies 3. This means that the people are unable to act as they want. You notice the effects of this early on in the story. As you progress through the game, you will liberate more and more colonies.
After defeating the colony's consul, you must destroy its Flame Clock. These battles are typically quite long and will take a while to complete. However, not all colonies will be liberated during the story. Some require the completion of side quests to liberate.
