Unsurprisingly, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is already the top seller on Switch eShop ...

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is getting its first release this weekend, and while there was a lot of interest for the physical versions, it appears that many people are still interested in the digital version.

Some of these purchases may have been canceled due to expensive collector's editions. According to the eShop charts in the United States, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is now out in front of Minecraft.

Even games like Nintendo Switch Sports and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, two games that just received DLC updates, have risen to the sixth spot, with Live A Live in ninth place at the time of writing.

In places like the United Kingdom, Xenoblade is top, ahead of games like Among Us, FIFA 22, and Mario Kart. And in Japan, the game is also top of the charts.

Again, this is a decent start for an RPG series like this. The previous game Xenoblade Chronicles 2 sold over 2 million copies, and the original game's Switch edition sold more than 1.5 million copies.
