Phaedra Parks made a formidable impact as the mother/law of two with some of Atlanta's finest shady remarks in her seven seasons on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She has recently made a few appearances on other spinoffs, including the first season of Real Housewives of Dubai. Will she go on to be a regular cast member in the latter's future? The actors expressed their own opinions.
Why Is Phaedra Parks Down For Major Real Housewives Of Dubai Stint?
Phaedra Parks admitted that she was interested in becoming a series regular after her Versace-clad episode on Entertainment Tonight.
You've got to work with individuals who are likely to be running with the same purpose and destination.
She's still looking for a new home as she continues to develop a line of sea moss treatment products in the region. In this case, she'd certainly fit right in with the other Dubai ladies, most of whom are business moguls themselves. Not to mention, the star still has a fondness for side-eyeing and down South idioms that make her such a pleasure to watch.
Castmates of the Real Housewives of Dubai Speak Out About The Phaedra Parks Potentially Being Cast
Caroline Brooks might be down, but the others on the program are decidedly against Phaedra Parks joining their ranks. Chanel Ayan, who is just as formidable an opponent as tried-and-true stars like Kenya Moore or Bethenny Frankel, was open about not needing Parks' comments on Entertainment Tonight.
I think she has to find her own program, we are fortunate where we are. That's my personal opinion.
Chanel Ayan and her co-star, Lesa Milan, are strong best friends and allies in what is Bravo's first international spinoff of the Real Housewives. Their dynamic is comparable to that of other well-known franchise duos like Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan in the old seasons of Atlanta. So it comes as no surprise that Milan is backing what Ayan is denying about Phaedra Parks's involvement.
Phaedra is lovely and fun, but I think she's more interested in Ultimate Girls Trip and the shows she's doing. Yeah, not ours. Sorry, Phaedra. You can only say, 'Hello.' That's enough.
Phaedra Parks' return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta fold would have been much more likely, compared to the new Dubai spinoff. At one point, even Moore said she was hoping Parks would return for Season 14, despite famously feuding with her on the program in the past. Alas, a return to the show might be a lot more difficult to manage due to her leading a date rape plot against Burruss.
Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan both admitted before the show that she would not like to buy a Georgia peach again. That's why she's so apprehensive about it when it comes to Dubai. The series will premiere on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo and only available with a Peacock Premium subscription.
