En Sabah Nur, better known as Apocalypse, is one of the X-Men's most famous foes, an immortal, near-unstoppable tyrant from ancient Egypt, who is devoted to establishing a world where the powerful rule over the weak, which ended up a disappointment to fans and critics alike.
Apocalypse has a great opportunity to get the live-action adaptation he deserves, even if it will be years before we see him again, since Oscar Isaac is busy playing another Egyptian-themed Marvel character in the form of Moon Knight. Giancarlo Esposito is one of the few actors who can portray a larger-than-life villain in everything from Harley Quinn to Far Cry 6 to DuckTales.
Apocalypse is expected to be depicted on screen using CGI in the same way as other giant-sized characters like Thanos, the Hulk, and Colossus, and he fits that bill, with Esposito having the experience to prove it.
