Endwalker Patch 6.2 is due for release in a Final Fantasy 14 letter from the producer ...

Final Fantasy 14 is getting ready to release its Patch 6.2, titled Buried Memory. The next Letter from the Producer LIVE was just scheduled, so Final Fantasy 14 players now have a pretty good guess as to when the patch itself will be released.

The Producer's Letter From A Realm Reborns Has Been Received 72 Years Later, Here Are Some Details About the MMORPG's Next Release

Buried Memory will be revealed in this live letter on August 12, 2022, at 4 a.m. Pacific, and includes a slew of new Endwalker content patches. In addition to new Main Scenario quests, dungeons, and raids, Final Fantasy 14 is now adding the Island Sanctuary casual content that was previously teased.

Final Fantasy 14's major content patches have come out two weeks after the Producer's second Live Letter about it. Players can generally expect the patch to be released two weeks after, unless there are exceptions.

Many players have been eager to hear what the Producer's Letter LIVE has to offer. Especially the Island Sanctuary, many others are eager to see where the Final Fantasy 14 Main Scenario quests will go, how the Pandaemonium raid will go next, or what the next raid tier will be.

Some players are less excited about the Producer LIVE since it will not be translated into English. In the past, Live Letters have had translators present to ensure both Japanese and English speakers understood what Yoshida and the others said. That is why Final Fantasy 14 is so averse to providing fan translations and information available in English from the slides shown during the Live Letter.

Final Fantasy 14 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
