Spider-Man 2 may turn to Marvel's Midnight Suns for more cosmetic inspiration

Spider-Man 2 may turn to Marvel's Midnight Suns for more cosmetic inspiration ...

The release date for Marvels Spider-Man 2 has been set for 2023, and it will likely take some time before fans hear more information. Particularly when it comes to the announcement that Insomniac Games is developing Marvels Wolverine as a standalone game at the same time.

Andrew Garfields suit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is one of the most-requested suit skins that players have been begging Forsomniac for, as well as a black symbiote suit. Other possibilities are currently undetermined or purely speculative in Marvels Midnight Suns, which will be released in October.

Spider-Man Suits from Marvel's Midnight Suns Would Be Fantastic in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man excelled with a wide range of costume skins from across comic books, films, and animation. Having an abundance of cosmetic skins has become a staple of many modern single-player and multiplayer games, contributing to the degree that players can customize their experiences with them.

The sequel to Marvels Spider-Man will surely follow this trend, and there are a slew of possibilities Forsomniac may choose to include in its own inspired catalog. Marvels Midnight Suns is no exception; its aesthetic is striking. These black, white, and gold suits complement each character's iconography, as well as emitting flames while empowered.

The Spider-Man costume is even more distinctive as it includes multiple red irises on black mask lenses and clawed fingers, making him appear more like an arachnid-human hybrid. This Marvels Midnight Suns skin would make a fantastic addition to Marvels Spider-Man 2.

The suit also has extended legs from the back, and the Peter Parkers armaments were already shown in the reveal trailer for Marvels Midnight Suns, which also includes a basic red-and-blue suit for Spider-Man that Spider-Man 2 might choose, but the black, white, and gold suit would be a concern.

Yuri Lowenthal is Spider-Tissue Man's Connective Tissue

The two games, Spider-Man and Marvels Midnight Suns, are entirely different in terms of content and characters. There is one piece of connective tissue that holds them together: Yuri Lowenthal's role as Spider-Man in each game.

This initially prompted fans to wonder whether Marvel's Midnight Suns Spider-Man was the same as the titular character in Marvel's Spider-Man, but that has since been proven. Firaxis may have simply liked the actors' rendition of the character, but fans who hear this Peter talking will undoubtedly hear Marvel's Spider-Mans Peter - at least for a short time.

Lowenthal is a great bridge between the two games and can help make cosmetic skin modifications more fluid. For example, if players can wear the Marvels Midnight Suns skin in Marvels Spider-Man 2, he may refer to it in another game, making it a fun game to remember.

Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to be released for PS5 in 2023.
