The first look trailer for the new Paramount series, Let the Right One In, has premiered. It features a talented cast.
Nick Stahl (Fear the Walking Dead) and Grace Gummer (Mr Robot) star in the upcoming 10-part vampire series, headed by Oscar nominee Demian Bichir (Godzilla vs Kong).
Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman, has adapted it a few times, most notably as Chloe Grace Moretz in Let Me In.
Mark (Bichir) and his daughter Eleanor (Madison Taylor Baez, Selena: The Series), whose lives were changed ten years earlier when she was transformed into a vampire.
Eleanor is locked in at the age of 12, perhaps forever, and she lives a closed-in existence, unable to go out only at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the human blood she requires to stay alive.
Anika Noni Rose (Power), Kevin Carroll (Snowfall), Ian Foreman, and Jacob Buster also co-star in the series.
Andrew Hinderaker of Penny Dreadful and Seith Mann of Homeland have co-produced the series.
In the first Fear the Walking Dead spin-off, Dead in the Water: A Fear the Walking Dead Story, earlier this year, Stahl reprised his role as weapons officer Riley.
The spin-off series was set aboard the USS Pennsylvania on the night before the nuclear zombie apocalypse and reintroduced fans to the beginning of the series, where Riley has recently become a father who is forced to fight for his survival as the apocalypse begins.
Showtime will launch in the United States on 7 October, and in the United Kingdom on Paramount+ on 8 October.
Fear the Walking Dead is available on AMC in the United States and AMC on BT TV in the United Kingdom.
