The Old Man, Jeff Bridges' latest TV series that premiered on FX on June 16, has finally received a release date in the United Kingdom.

On September 28, the American drama-thriller will launch exclusively on Disney+ in the United Kingdom. The Old Man follows a former CIA officer who suddenly has to go on the run when people want to kill him.

The episode consists of seven episodes, with Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow, Alia Shawkat, E. J. Bonilla, and Bill Heck. Levine and Steinberg co-wrote all seven episodes, while Spider-Man: No Way Home directed two episodes each, and Zetna Fuentes directed the remaining episode.

When he played Tony Stark's second-in-command Obadiah Stane in 2008's Iron Man, Bridges has also appeared in many recognized films, including Starman, The Big Lebowski, True Grit, and Hell or High Water. In 2010, Bridges won the best actor Oscar for the musical drama Crazy Heart.

Lithgow, who co-starred with him in the Shrek films, had the honor of playing Winston Churchill in Netflix's The Crown, which he won an Emmy for his role as the former UK Prime Minister. Both for 1982's The World According to Garp and 1983's Terms of Endearment

The Old Man's production was temporarily halted due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and the show was halted again in September 2020, when Bridges was diagnosed with lymphoma, while the show continued shooting scenes that did not feature him. He returned to the show in February 2022, after confirming that his cancer was in remission in late 2021.
