Tales of the Walking Dead is a six-episode series based on the popular AMC series. Unlike the other Walking Dead shows, Tales of the Walking Dead is an anthology series. That means each episode will focus on a different character and over a wide variety of locations and times.

Terry Crews, Samantha Morton, Danny Ramirez, and showrunner Channing Powell talked about the SDCC series just before it went on air, about how making it a six-episode season is like filming a new pilot every week, how you dont need to have seen The Walking Dead to enjoy this series, and how one of the episodes will take place thirty-five years in the future.

Olivia Munn, Parker Posey, Anthony Edwards, Jillian Bell, Loan Chabanol, Embeth Davidtz, Jessie T. Usher, and Daniella Pineda star in Tales of the Walking Dead. AMC+ will broadcast the first two episodes on the same night and, starting on August 21, will broadcast episodes a week early on the streamer.
