According to a recent survey, Activision Blizzard might settle down with pricing on its next game.
Blizzard previously stated that it would no longer sell loot boxes in favor of battle passes and direct purchases like other online games such as Fortnite. However, Blizzard hasnt yet stated how Overwatch 2 microtransactions and store prices will work.
According to a new survey that was apparently sent out (as verified by @Portergauge on Twitter), Blizzard is gauging prices for skins, bundles, and weapon charms. While these are by no means the final prices, the survey asks whether players are willing to pay $44.99 for a single Mythic skin, $24.99 for a Legendary skin, $29.99 for a Legendary bundle, or $9.99 for a weapon charm.
Blizzard is simply checking out this particular variation of the survey. It hasnt gone down well on Reddit. We won't know for sure until Overwatch 2 is released in October.
Thanks to the most recent beta, here's the currenttier list of hero rankings for Overwatch 2.
