Neil Patrick Harris on his 60th Anniversary role in Doctor Who

Neil Patrick Harris on his 60th Anniversary role in Doctor Who ...

The 60th Anniversary Special for Doctor Who will be released in the new year, and there are some exciting things ahead with it! Both David Tennant and Catherine Tate will reprise their roles from the past, and there will also be a special appearance from none other than Neil Patrick Harris!

What do we know right now about theHow I Met Your Motheralum? It's all about being an adversary to The Doctor, though, as per Neil's recent interview with Varietys Just for Variety podcast while promoting his new Netflix showUncoupled:

Russell T Davies sends me a message saying, So I've done this thing and there's a part in it that you'll enjoy. I think it's delectable. Is it OK if I send it to you?

Russell, youre Russell T Davies, of course. And he sent it to me and I began reading it immediately and from the very first sentence I was like, Ah, this is delectable.'

We expect Harris to be completely enthused with the role. It might allow his imagination to run amok and do a variety of really great things, and, of course, we would like to see him and Tennant do some scenes together. Who wouldn't want to see that?

The most difficult thing right now is waiting for this special to air. We still have one more episode left to go for the Jodie Whittaker era, so we will be waiting to get to the other end of it beforeany more information becomes available.
