The Key Visual of the New Chainsaw Man Has Been Revealed ...

Crunchyroll unveiled a brand-new visual for Tatsuki Fujimoto's hit manga, Chainsaw Man, to the anime community this autumn; production studio MAPPA has not set a date yet.

Denji, the protagonist in the new key visual, will be revealed on the studio's YouTube channel on August 5 at 8pm JST.

Chainsaw Man's anime adaptation was announced in December 2020, following the conclusion of the manga's first part. The second part of the Chainsaw Man manga began serialization earlier this month in the online magazine Shonen Jump+.

Chainsaw Man is a tale about a young man named Denji who is ecstatic at the hands of his father. He contracts with a dog devil named Pochita, and discovers that neither man nor devil is inhabitant of the interstice. He is then placed in the ranks of the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a group dedicated to preserving public safety by tracking down and killing devils.

Chainsaw Man is a popular game, with over 13 million copies in circulation as of June 2022. It has received the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the Shonen category, and has a wide following of people who love its narrative, characters, dark humor, themes, and brutal violence. The first 11 volumes are available from Viz Media.

While the new key visual does not give away much information about a release date, fans will be enthralled by the premise of a new teaser for the series, which will reveal crucial details about the upcoming series, such as first cast information. As such, tension is building as speculation continues about the release date.
