The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was a smash hit when CD Projekt Red released the game in 2015. The previous games in the fantasy series had also had success, but the latest release took Geralt of Rivia's adventures into the unknown.
CD Projekt Red has announced that the next Witcher game is in the works, and to entice fans to purchase a next-gen patch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which will be released in Q4 2022, there have been delays in the PS5 and Xbox Series versions, causing fans to take matters into their own hands while waiting for whatever comes next.
Hands0m3_Jack24, a Redditor who loves The Witcher series, has created two Steel and Silver swords, Geralts weapons of choice. The swords are crafted from wood and not only have been painted to look like they have been crafted metal, but also have intricate runes running down the blade and stylized hilts that have been meticulously recreated.
The swords have been measured out to be around 115 cm from end to end, and due to the materials used, they are unlikely to be used in combat. Instead, they will take their place on Hands0m3_Jack24's wall. Many users applaud the genius displayed in recreating both Steel and Silver.
Others are using other methods to get their Witcher fix. The Elden Ring character creator has led to its fair share of well-known icons from major franchises including Star Wars and Marvel, but one player has taken it to the next level by incorporating Geralt into Elden Ring to face the toughest bosses.
The Witcher 4 is expected to transform the company's fortunes quickly, while players are still figuring out how to commemorate The Witcher. Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December 2018, but CD Projekt Red has seen a 75% decline since.
The Witcher 4 is currently in development.
