Hard West 2 is a strategy game. You either have it or you don't. If you and your posse go blind, you'll never live to tell the tale. That is until you get lucky. Luck is one of the main traits that you have to work with in Hard West 2, and it can save you a lot of heartache if you keep your posse's luck filled.
What is luck?
Simply stated, luck is a skill that makes your characters more likely to hit enemies. Luck has a point value in the game that determines how much of an increase your hit chance gets when you activate it. The more likely you are to hit your goal when you activate it.
By pressing the button on the left side of the action bar, you can turn on luck. This button has a horseshoe symbol on it. If you don't want to use luck at the moment, you can just press the button again to turn it off.
How to get luck points
Your posse members will immediately have 125 luck during each battle, while on the tougher difficulty, your posse members will have no luck. This includes friendly fire). You will also gain luck if your posse members miss their marks.
