Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke of Riverdale are planning to retaliate in this first teaser for their new Netflix filmDo Revenge.

Netflix has released a teaser on Twitter in the run-up to the release of the film's teaser next week (Tuesday, August 9), giving us a sneak peek into what we might expect from the film.

As Austin Abram's character walks down the school hallway, Hawke's character Eleanor Hawke states: "He's a fake awake, misogynist hypocrite."

Mendes' Drea replies, "He'll never get away with this," right before we get to a shot of her punching someone in the face.

Drea asks Eleanor: "Don't you want to make her pay?"

Eleanor, who is evidently enraged, replies, "I want to burn her to the ground."

Do Revenge is a dark comedy starring Hawke and Mendes playing Eleanor and Drea as high school students.

Drea is the textbook high school mean girl who's life turns upside down when her sex tape disappears, while Eleanor is a social outcast who has transferred to Drea's school. The two decide to join forces and take revenge for anyone who has done them wrong.

As Eleanor asks: "Is 'do revenge' even correct grammar?" Later on, the two actors poke fun at the title.

"Don't just get angry when they've done you wrong," we're told in the teaser. "Do revenge."

Sophie Turner, who plays Alisha Boe on Game of Thrones, is joined by Euphoria's Austin Abrams, Ava Capri, Talia Ryder, Jonathan Daviss, Maia Reficco, Paris Berelc, and Benghazia.

Kaytin Robinson directs and writes the film.

On September 16, Do Revenge will be available on Netflix.
