Live stage show tickets for Countdown and Celebrity Gogglebox stars are now available ...

Susie Dent and Gyles Brandreth, two of UK talk show's smartest presenters, are collaborating on a unique stage show.

Susie's 30th anniversary in the Dictionary Corner on Countdown is collaborating with Gyles, a former MP and fellow wordsmith, for a stage adaptation of Something Rhymes with Purple, based on their popular podcast.

From Sunday, September 25, through Sunday, February 19, 2023, the show will be housed at the Fortune Theatre in London. For the complete schedule, go to the ATG ticket website. The theatre is typically open Tuesdays through Sundays.

Tickets for the 1 hour and 50 minute program will be available starting April 25, with a 3.80 transaction fee per ticket.

The duo will play some of their favourite word games from the Something Rhymes with Purple podcast, including 'Susie's Trio,' as well as discuss the language's unique origins.

Gyles' unique style of poetry is expected to be discussed further, as well as uncovering language myths. Each program will be recorded for the podcast.

"Uncover the hidden origins of language, understand how and why we use the words we use, increase your vocabulary, and test your knowledge with two of the finest and cleverest wordsmiths," says the Fortune Theatre.

Please be aware that the venue may have COVID-19 guidelines that need to be followed or could be altered later in the year. Visit the ATG tickets website for more information.

Gyles has an additional Countdown connection beyond his podcast Something Rhymes with Purple and live show with Susie Dent. He is currently paired with Carol Vorderman, a long-time Countdown star on Celebrity Gogglebox, and they've shared some interesting tales.

On Channel 4, Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm.
