Super Mario 64 Has Been Turned Into A First-Person Horror Game ...

A guy receives a mysterious letter from his girlfriend, arrives at a castle to discover her missing, and there are dozens of rooms packed with monsters...its the basic setting for 1996's classic Super Mario 64, but it's also quite a survival horror game, which is why this new fan-made project is such a perfect fit.

Another Princess Is In Our Castle, a Super Mario 64 inspired horror film, in which you decide to return to Peachs castle a few years after the princess' death, but something isnt quite right...

While it appears to be a first-person mod, it's actually an entirely fan-made effort from the ground up, with the goal in mind, and while it's currently only a brief playable demo, its creator Claudio Mondin hopes to eventually transform it into something more substantial.

Mondin's film is shown in this video:

And here's some gameplay footage, demonstrating how the main goal is to sneak around the castle collecting items, while while avoiding a Princess who is certainly not peachy:

In the end, Mondin says it's pretty much just a demo, so don't expect much out of it other than some sneaking (and the very cool novelty of it). I'll try to get some more later today to see what the mystery is really all about (hope the ghost is just apprehensive that her cake turned out dogshit).

Gaming!Uses exclusive ultra-fast wireless technology to ensure that your mouse performs at a higher level, can be sued alongside special software for exceptional customization, and has 11 buttons to mess around with, a hyper-fast scroll wheel, and RGB lighting as well.

You can download the demo and play it yourself here. I dont want to hear anything about lawyers in the comments, either, just go and enjoy something cool made by a fan.
