The exact release dates for Starfield are likely to remain a mystery as the upcoming QuakeCon is dominated by Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Redfall, leaving us guessing about the Bethesdas space RPG's release, and still obsessing over every aspect of the first gameplay trailer.
The Elder Scrolls: Online seems to be a key focus of this years QuakeCon, named after the legendary Doom creators id Software. There's also a live dungeon challenge run by Elder Scrolls speedrunner Olibeau, as well as a seminar on ESO basics for experienced gamers.
As part of a presentation comparing Arkanes' 2021 shooter, Fallout 76 will be featured, as well as the mainstay Quake pro tournament, which after 26 years still blows us away.
Starfield does seem to be invited. Given some recent information about a possible launch date, as well as hints the RPG might include survival mechanics, we were hoping QuakeCon would give us an opportunity to discover Bethesdas major space adventure, but right now, it looks like a no show.
