Where You Have Seen The Voice Actors Before In The Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ...

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has been one of the most popular things in comics, animated series, movies, toys, and video games for the better part of 40 years. Throughout its history, the pop culture phenomenon has taken many forms, including the Saturday morning cartoon series, the original movies from the early 1990s, and most recently Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, which was released on Netflix on August 5, 2022.

The cast of the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie sounds familiar, either because some of the voice cast belongs to the Nickelodeon series of the same name or any of the other films and shows listed below.

Ben Schwartz (Leonardo/Leo)

Ben Schwartz will play Leo and Leonardo in the next Nickelodeon animated series.

Even when you remove his previous role as the iconic Ninja Turtle in Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens as the adorable BB-8, BoJack Horseman, Bobs Burgers, and more, Schwartz's live-action work includes memorable performances on House of Lies, Parks and Recreation, and most recently the Apple TV+ series The Afterparty.

Omar Benson Miller (Raphael/Raph)

In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Omar Benson Miller, who played Raph during his two-year run on Nickelodeon, reprises the character (as well as the version of his character from the future).

Miller has also appeared on a number of television series throughout his career, including Eleventh Hour, CSI: Miami, Ballers, and the 2022 Apple TV+ original series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey.

Brandon Mychal Smith (Michelangelo/Mikey)

Brandon Mychal Smith is back in action once again as Mikey's voice (and the future version of himself known as Michelangelo) in The Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Smith has been in a little bit of everything since he got his start. This includes recurring roles on TV shows like Phil of the Future, Sonny with a Chance, Youre the Worst, and the 2019 Four Weddings and a Funeral small-screen adaptation. He has also appeared in films like Dirty Grandpa, The Most Hated Woman in America, and Get on Up.

Josh Brener (Donatello/Donnie)

Josh Brener, who played Donnie in the original run of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is returning to reprise the role in the new film, in addition to playing Donatello, who was sent back from the future.

Brener, like the rest of the actors in the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie cast, is familiar with voice-acting, having appeared in titles like DuckTales (the 2017 reboot), Star Wars Resistance, 101 Dalmatian Street, and The Mighty Ones in the past few years alone. Also, he has starred in films like The Internship, The Front Runner, and What Men Want.

Kat Graham (April ONeil)

Kat Graham will reprise her role as April ONeil in the Nickelodeon animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She previously played the turtles' best friend during its initial run between 2018 and 2020.

Graham has appeared in everything from Nancy Meyers films like The Parent Trap to Disney Channel original series like Lizzie McGuire and Hannah Montana, to voice Rhythm and Blues on Trolls: TrollsTopia since it was first released on Hulu back in 2020. Graham has also landed roles in Tupac Shakur's All Eyez on Me, Emperor, Operation Christmas Drop, and 17 Again.

Eric Bauza (Splinter)

Eric Bauza, a well-known voice actor who played Splinter in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has reintroduced his skills for a new Netflix animated film, the latest in a long line of roles.

Bauza has been in numerous animated films over the years, including The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, The Looney Tunes Show, Adventure Time, The Freemaker Adventures, and The Guardians of the Galaxy. In 2021, he also voiced many of the characters in Space Jam: A New Legacy.

Haley Joel Osment (Casey Jones)

In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Haley Joel Osment makes his first film appearance as the legendary masked vigilante Casey Jones.

When you hear Osments name, the first thing you'll notice is his career-making performance in The Sixth Sense, which featured M. Night Shyamalans finest twist ending. But he has also been in a slew of other roles throughout his career, including Forrest Gump, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Pay It Forward, and other big screen roles. His TV credits include everything from The Kominsky Method and Murphy Brown to a brief stint on The Boys.
