The developers of MultiVersus intend to update the hitbox/hurtbox system ...

The games director has confirmed that MultiVersus will undergo a major upgrade to its hitbox and hurtbox systems.

A fan asked Tony Huynh, the director of MultiVersus if one of the games' characters, Finn, would be nerfed due to his overpowered and unbalanced moves. Huynh replied, "Well be looking at Finn in sections," because we are making a lot of changes to our hitbox/hurtbox system.

Hitboxes are the area in which an attack is supposed to land, primarily to contact an opponent's hurtbox, and in some fighting games, some playable characters might have been programmed with unfair hitboxes, with bigger hitboxes being easier to catch or smaller hitboxes being more difficult to deal with.

Huynh also stated in the same thread that Finn will be nerfed and will undergo certain adjustments. Though he did not disclose the specifics, the director simply answered yes when asked if a nerf for Finn would be happening.

MultiVersus, the newest fighting game developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, was just released last month after its open beta testing. Here, various characters from the various Warner Bros. franchises are featured as playable fighting characters, such as superheroes from DC and HBO, Cartoon Network, and Turner Entertainment.

The Multiverse is at your fingertips as you fight it out in intense 2v2 matches, according to the game's official website. Bugs Bunny and Arya Stark are great platform fighters for challenging Batman and Shaggy in a cooperative or head-to-head battle for supremacy.
