Coconut Malls stalled Shy Guys are fixed with a new Mario Kart 8 DLC ...

The second wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxes Booster Course Pass downloadable content is now available, including eight new tracks, including one that is (technically) brand-new: Sky-High Sundae. However, Mario Kart 8 enthusiasts will be pleased to hear about another update, this time to Coconut Mall.

Coconut Mall, a track that originally appeared in Mario Kart Wii, was made available in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe earlier this year with the release of Wave 1 of the Switch games Booster Course Pass. Around the end of the course, a group of cars that previously would be completely stationary would now be moving again, and the Shy Guys behind the wheel will occasionally donuts.

Here's a peek at that Nintendo proudly promoted change on Twitter, and how Pink Gold Peach is being completely ruined by it:

Shy Guys, the stunt-driving kids now pose a serious threat to Mario Kart players, which will most likely surprise and delight and also destroy some leads. Don't tell your friends.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxes Booster Course Pass promises a total of 48 fresh Mario Kart courses, including the original Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour. However, Nintendo has also planned for a few surprises during the implementation of the Booster Course Pass, which is expected to last until 2023, along with four additional DLC changes.

The Booster Course Pass costs $24.99, and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass members will have access to all 48 courses as part of their subscription.
